A place in the final earned the hard way
Top seeds Stefani and Dabrowski reached the final after saving a match point in Saturday's semifinal. They came from behind to beat China's Yiming Dang and Xiaodi You 3-6, 6-3, [11-9].
That comeback kept Stefani in contention for a second consecutive title at home. She won the 2025 edition with Hungary's Timea Babos; this time, she is partnering Dabrowski against fourth seeds Rogers and Zamarripa.
Chasing a fourth title this season
Stefani and Dabrowski have already won titles together in Dubai, Strasbourg and Eastbourne in 2026. Their São Paulo campaign gives them a chance to add to that list, although the final remained undecided at the time of this report.
