Mirra Andreeva reached her first Beijing WTA 1000 final on Saturday, October 10, 2026. The fourth seed beat No. 26 seed Nikola Bartunkova 6–2, 6–2 in one hour and 14 minutes.

Strong returns and fewer errors

Andreeva converted five of her ten break-point opportunities and dropped serve just once. The official statistics recorded 16 winners and ten unforced errors for her, compared with 14 and 20, respectively, for Bartunkova.

Andreeva won 64% of the points played, maintaining a clear overall advantage beyond the set scores.

A final and a new ranking milestone

According to the WTA, this was Andreeva's 50th victory of the season, drawing her level with Jessica Pegula for the most tour wins in 2026. Beijing will be her fifth final of the year. The WTA also reports that she will rise to a career-high No. 3 in next week's rankings.

The run adds to a season in which Andreeva won Roland Garros, Adelaide and Linz and reached the Madrid final. On Friday, the WTA confirmed her first singles qualification for the WTA Finals in Indian Wells; she had already appeared in doubles in 2025.

The Beijing title match is scheduled for Sunday, October 11. At the time of publication, the other semifinal, between Zheng Qinwen and Elise Mertens, was still in progress.

The official WTA highlights feature Andreeva's semifinal against Bartunkova at Beijing 2026.
