The champions converted five of seven break-point opportunities and saved three of the four break points they faced. The official statistics recorded 16 winners and just four unforced errors for Stefani and Dabrowski, compared with ten in each category for their opponents.

Their semifinal had required a match tiebreak: on Saturday, Stefani and Dabrowski beat Elise Mertens and Diana Shnaider 6–4, 3–6, [10–7]. In the quarterfinals, they had already eliminated Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini 7–5, 7–6(6).

Another trophy before the Finals

Beijing is the partnership's fifth title of 2026, following Dubai, Strasbourg, Eastbourne and São Paulo. According to the WTA, Stefani now has 18 tour-level doubles titles, five at WTA 1000 events. Dabrowski's total stands at 25, including seven at that level.

The pair have already qualified for the WTA Finals in Indian Wells, which begins on November 8. The WTA announced their qualification on September 3. This will be their first appearance at the event together: Stefani was the 2025 runner-up, while Dabrowski won the 2024 edition.
